Are these symptoms of diabetes?

For the past week, 2 days i felt weak and tired, with no appetite. On one of those days the tiredness went off after playing some sports.
I get occasional tingling, but on very small areas of my feet or hands, most of the time feet. These tingling only lasts for about less than 5 seconds.
No weight loss or gain. By the way, i’m 14 and underweight. My grandmother had diabetes.
I’m not feeling extra thirsty or hungry, but at night i usually have to pee 2 or 3 times in the few hours before going to bed.
Also, i just recovered from diarrhea a 2 weeks ago or so.
I think i’m just being overly paranoid, but i’m still scared.
Also, reading online, i read that tiredness can be caused by anxiety, and i normally feel tired when i’m thinking about the possibility of diabetes. The more scared i am, the worse it gets.

Need a reminder about insulin?

no, not diabetes, you are supposed to urinate every two hours while awake, so your pattern there is completely normal. You are right, you are being overly paranoid.

Need a reminder about insulin?

For your age I don’t this so. I think you need to be more physically active. Try make time for exersice daily then if the symptom persist go see your Dr.

It’s all in your head, you proabably don’t have diabetes. But if you really start to have symptoms, i would recommend asking your parents about it. And diabetes isn’t all that bad, if you do end up having it. My older sister has diabetes, and she lives a relatively normal life. She just has to check her blood sugar before every meal, and watch the candy (unless it’s sugar-free, but don’t worry, there are LOTS of sugar-free, tasty, candies out there, even though you probably don’t notice them now)

Diabetes sports

It’s likely that you’re still regulating the ater in your body after diarrhea, but testing your blood sugar with your doctor sounds like it should be in order just to be sure.

A Reminder about Diabetes

Treating diabetes is best carried out during the early stages of the disease when the consequences can still be controlled and minimized. Such an approach will require an early determination of diabetic symptoms. These diabetic symptoms are:

* Extreme and excessive thirst that is quite abnormal
* Hunger even when meals have recently been taken
* Frequent urination
* Fatigue easily creeps in
* Excessive weight loss at such a short period of time
* Smeared vision
* Nagging impatience that has recently been developed
